Established in 2005, Academic Link International Education Services is one of the promptly growing agencies within the education industry. Academic Link International Education Services specializes in helping prospective overseas students who wish to study in Australia and New Zealand, in English Courses and Higher Education Courses.

Our vision is: ‘Better Education, Better Future’.We aim to provide International Students with opportunities to enhance their learning prospects.

Our mission is to present a wide range of information and free* services to prospective International Students.

We believe that selecting the correct educational program is the first stepping-stone in building the students’ future aspirations. Academic Link International Education Services is involved in facilitating and assisting International Student enrolments in the Australian and New Zealand Education Institutions. In addition, accommodation placements; pre-departure orientation programs about living in Australia and New Zealand; airport pick up services and on-going consultancy services, such as employment and career prospects, for the International Students during their studies in Australia and New Zealand.

Our Senior Consultant team is comprised of three Australian Residents who have completed their tertiary education in Australia and Overseas. They specialize in teaching, career counselling and consulting. Our company also employs experienced education consultants who have extensive knowledge and experience in recruiting overseas students.

We have a rapid growth strategy and a strong potential student network, with a highly motivated consulting team.

Academic Link International Education Services is involved in promoting and representing exclusive Australian and New Zealand Education Institutions. We attend International Student Education Exhibitions, and advertisethem in our countries of operation.

Our head office was primarily established in Melbourne/Australia. Our company aims to launch its new branch in Istanbul / Turkey by February 2006. The company’s long term objective is to expand its operations in Central Asia and Balkan Countries. The new office in Istanbul/Turkey will be the head of region for the new countries of operation.

Senior Consultant 

Ulas is the co-founder and a Senior Consultant of Academic Link International Education Services. Ulas’s key responsibilities are to manage all student services and programs.

Before establishing Academic Link International Educational Services, Ulas worked in the Consulting Industry and was the Managing Director of an overseas company.

Ulas has a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from The University of Istanbul/Turkey. After completing his university degree, he undertook English Studies at St. Giles College Eastbourne/England. Ulas also has a Certificate of Advance Level English For Academic Purposes from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT), Melbourne; Graduate Diploma in Business Management and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from La Trobe University Melbourne/Australia. Ulas is also a member of The Australian Institute of Professional Counsellors.

Ulas also specializes in career counselling and has extensive experience in this industry. Alongside, his Psychology and studies in Career Counselling background, he has the capacity to provide not only basic guidance for prospective International Students, but also career advising on an ongoing basis.

SEVAL SIR, BA (Primary Teaching), BA (Com. Development), ESL

Senior Consultant

Seval is a Senior Consultant of Academic Link International Education Services. Seval’s key responsibility is to liaise with educational institutions and develop a positive relationship for future aspirations.

Seval has a Bachelor of Primary Teaching from Deakin University, Melbourne and has more than 5 years of teaching experience, having worked in both Primary and Secondary schools in Turkey and Australia. Seval is also qualified English as a Second Language instructor to those from a Non-English Speaking Background, and has experience as a coordinator in providing advice and support services to students with all needs of various backgrounds.

Seval has a Bachelor Degree of Community Development from Deakin University, Melbourne, and has been actively involved in this field on an ongoing basis. She has developed a user-friendly guide of community organisations in order to support, advice, guide and assists those in need of community services. Therefore, Seval has a broad knowledge of government and private organizations offering services for those who have a Non-English Speaking Background.

Seval has extensive travelling experiences varying from Vietnam, United States of America, Germany, Thailand and Turkey. During her journeys, she has had the responsibility of meeting student needs and goals varying from accommodation through to education institution placements.

BERNADETTE THATCHER, Ass. Dip. Acc., Level III Cert. Bus. Comp,

Student Consultant – TAFE Programs

Bernadette is the Student Consultant of TAFE Programs of Academic Link International Education Services. Bernadette’s key role is to consult with TAFE Program enrolments.

Bernadette has obtained her Associates Diploma of Accounting at the University of Victoria, Melbourne, and her Level III of Business Computing and Level I, II and III of Integration Aide at La Trobe University, Melbourne. She has immense experience in the accounting division as she has practised her skills for more than 4 years. In addition, Bernadette has more than 5 years of experience working in a schooling setting as an Office Administrator and an Integration Aide, dealing with, assisting and meeting needs of various student backgrounds.

GRAMATIKI ALEXIOU, Dip. Ed, BA (Ed.), ESL

Student Consultant – University Programs

Gramatiki is the Student Consultant of University Programs of Academic Link International Education Services. Gramatiki’s key role is to consult with University Program enrolments.

Gramatiki has attained her Diploma of Education and Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Gramatiki is a teacher of 18 years and has an extensive knowledge of student needs in educational aspects. She has also obtained English as a Second Language Lecturer Certificate at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, and has experience teaching students from various cultural backgrounds. 

ERGIN CARDAKLI, BEng, Grad.Dip (Com. Eng), MEng (Com. Eng)

Student Consultant -Postgraduate Programs

Ergin is the Student Consultant of Postgraduate Programs of Academic Link International Education Services. Ergin’s key role is to consult with Postgraduate Program enrolments.

Ergin has acquired his Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical & Electronic) at the Istanbul Technical University, Turkey. Ergin has gained great familiarity in completing his Graduate Diploma and Masters degrees in Telecommunications Engineering at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne, as an international student.

TAXIA KATSOURANIS, Dip.Edu, BA (Edu.), ESL

Student Consultant – ELICOS Courses

Taxia is the Student Consultant of ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) Programs of Academic Link International Education Services. Taxia’s key role is to consult with ELICOS Course enrolments.

Taxia has attained her Diploma of Education and Bachelor of Education Degree at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Taxia has 16 years of teaching experience in both Primary and Secondary levels. She has also experience in teaching English as a Second Language, in which she obtained the English as a Second Language Lecturer Certificate at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Melbourne.

ALLA TITOVA, BBus (Acc) , Grad. Dip (Finance), MAcc

Student Consultant – Russia and Central Asian Countries

Alla’s key role is to manage all applications from Russia and Central Asian Countries. She was born and brought up in Kazakhstan , but she has a Russian background and native speakers of Russian language.

Alla has obtained her Bachelor Diploma of Accounting from Kazakh State University, Almaty, Kazakhstan . Then she continued her Higher Education studies in Australia and completed Graduate Certificate of Finance and Masters in Professional Accounting at RMIT University Melbourne/Australia.

She has great experience in the accounting and administration area which includes, Almaty Tea LLC (American Tea Manufacture ), New Technologies PTY LTD, Almaty, Kazakhstan and Woodbridge Australia Group, Melbourne, Australia. Alla came to Australia as an International Student, she has an adequate knowledge about International Education and Overseas Students in Australia. Alla also has a strong business network in Central Asian Countries.
