Internship

Academic Link International is offering Internship programs for students who wish to intensify their learning experience while studying. Students gain advantage of having experience in their area of interest. As an Intern you will have;

  • Opportunities to deeper cultural immersion and the experience of working with professionals in an international city.
  • Practical language training and an opportunity to apply lessons learned in the classroom to life outside.
  • Options to apply lessons learned in the business arena into the classroom environment.
  • Valuable international work experience.

The hours and duration of the Internship programs would vary depending upon the requirements and circumstances of each student.

The following are guidelines in order to be selected for Internship. For all Internship placements, you need to have:

  • Good presentation skills
  • Basic English
  • A desire to learn

Applicants are placed with companies based upon their requirements and suitability. Factors assessed are:

  • Current Academic studies current and completed
  • Study commitment (hours per week)
  • Field of Interest
  • Current or booked home location

Internships are a valuable learning experience for all applicants. Employers are demanding that applicants who are still at University or who wish to upgrade their skills, have "real world" experience, and Internships are one of the best ways for this to occur.

Before finding out about Internship, you need to spend time reflecting on your goals.

Consider these questions:

  • What are your specific career interests? 
  • Why do you want from an Internship -- and what do you hope to gain from it?
  • What type of organization are you interested in?
  • What industry would be best for your needs?
  • Do you want University credit for the Internship?
